Program Note

Procession recalls music I heard in Granada, Spain, during the solemn Easter
procession that ascends along a winding street through the forest to the gate
of the Alhambra.

Dodeca-Cacophony is an adaptation of Dodecafonicamente from my set of
four poetic pieces for solo piano entitled Corpo Sonoro, based on eponymous
poems of the Brazilian poet, Maria Davico.

Sunny Blue (do la re mi) is a slow blues, beginning in C, and transitioning via
a/A to a D-E cadence.
