So Alone is spun off from my earlier work ‘Pentimento’ which was commissioned by the Cleveland Chamber Collective in 2012. While on a camping trip in the Australian outback, where at night I heard the songs of the dingos, the haunting beauty of those voices beneath the stars evoked something impossible to describe in words.
