One of several very short pieces for solo instruments composed during the COVID-19 pandemic, this work captures the feeling of wanting to celebrate over the upcoming inauguration of our new President, Joe Biden, but also feeling that it was impossible to do so because of the shocking attack on the US Capitol by Trump supporters which happened on January 6, 2021.
